Hanging With Heros

In August 2025, IMT participated in the Hanging with Heroes event at Lausanne Collegiate School, a community-focused gathering hosted by Memphis Moms and designed to connect students and families with local organizations and resources ahead of the new school year.

During the event, the IMT team engaged with students, parents, and fellow community partners in a welcoming and energetic environment. Through conversations and outreach, IMT shared information about its programs, support services, and commitment to student success, while also learning more about the needs and interests of the families it serves.

Hanging with Heroes provided an excellent opportunity to build relationships within the community and increase awareness of the resources available to students both inside and outside the classroom. The event emphasized collaboration, accessibility, and preparing students for a strong start to the academic year.

IMT’s involvement centered on meaningful conversations with families and active engagement within the community. The team valued the chance to listen, connect, and build relationships with parents and students, strengthening its understanding of how to better support those it serves.
